We’ve reached the final of the Scarborough Business Awards
The team at Cedarbarn are celebrating after reaching the final of a regional business award.
We are very excited to share the news that we have been shortlisted in the Independent Business category in the eighth Scarborough Excellence in Business Awards.
Our co-founder, Karl Avison said: “We’re a truly independent business with links to the local area that go back four generations. We’re very proud and honoured to have won a place in the final with some great local businesses and are looking forward to celebrating the best of the area’s businesses next month.”
We face stiff competition from Escape Rooms Scarborough, Lindy Lou Artisan Cakes and The Farrier, Cayton. We will learn whether we have been successful at an awards ceremony at The Scarborough Spa on Thursday, 1st December. The judging team comprises Louise Perrin from the Scarborough News editorial team, Angela Fletcher from the awards’ headline sponsor, Happy Futures and industry professionals, Cllr Phillip Trumper and former finalist, George Roberts.
Organised by the Scarborough News, the Excellence in Business awards recognise and reward a cross-section of businesses and the vital role they play in the community and the economic success of the region.
Wish us luck!
