We’ve reached the final of the Northern Farmer Awards

The team at Cedarbarn are celebrating after reaching the final of a regional farming award.

We’re delighted to share the news that we have been shortlisted in the Food Retailer/Producer of the Year Award category in the Northern Farmer Awards. The category rewards places producing or showing the county’s finest food on show for all to savour, from farm shops, markets, farmers, growers and manufacturers.

Our co-founder, Karl Avison said: “We have farmed in the Pickering area for four generations and are very proud and honoured to have won a place in the final of this prestigious farming award. We are looking forward to celebrating the best of the north’s farming businesses at the awards dinner later this month.”

We will learn whether we have been successful at an awards ceremony at The Pavilions in Harrogate on 19th February.

Organised by the Northern Farmer magazine and featuring charity partner, The Farming Community Network, the Northern Farmer awards reward and celebrate the farmers who work tirelessly to keep the nation fed.
