We’ve been shortlisted in the Scarborough Business Awards too!
Gosh, we’re having a lovely run of shortlist successes!
We’ve just found out that we’ve reached the final of the Best Retail or Leisure Business of the Year in the ninth Scarborough News Excellence in Business Awards!
Of the news, Farmer Karl said: “We’re a fourth-generation family business and are very proud to have won a place in the final alongside some great local businesses. We’re looking forward to celebrating the best of the area’s businesses at the gala dinner next month.”
We face tough competition from Furniture Works, Humble Bee Farm, YMCA Theatre and Pagan and McQuade Opticians, so please wish us luck! We will find out whether we have been successful at an awards ceremony at The Scarborough Spa on Thursday, 30th November. The judging team comprises Mike Pennington from Made Smarter, former finalist, George Roberts, Tracy Calcraft from the Disabilities Trust and guest judges for the Diversity and Inclusion Award, Scarborough Pride.
Organised by the Scarborough News, the Excellence in Business Awards recognise and reward a cross-section of businesses and the vital role they play in the community and the economic success of the region.
