Farm Shop Supervisor
Pickering, North Yorkshire
(4/5 days – including 1 weekend day)
We are looking for a Supervisor to assist the Manager, working with our fantastic team in the Farm Shop.
Previous experience within a retail environment is essential and the successful candidate will have a keen interest in local, quality food and its provenance.
Ideally, you should be:
• Experienced in a retail environment (including the production and service of quality food, selling & stock control)
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly, approachable manner.
• Assist the manager with rotas and stock taking.
• A good communicator who can work with the other department heads to build effective relationships across the whole business
• Use epos systems to evaluate information regarding products and suppliers.
• Take pride in delivering excellent customer service
• Creative and confident in shop merchandising
• Overseeing and checking deliveries
• Preferably a knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety compliance (training will be provided if needed)
• Listen and respond to our customers’ feedback and react accordingly
