Ticket to ride?
We’re so grateful to our lovely friend and neighbour, Gena for organising a coach/coaches so that we can all go to York to support Karl’s Ride of Their Lives for Macmillan Cancer Support at York Races on 15th June.
Here’s all you need to know from Gena:
Transport and Race Tickets to York Races for the McMillian Ride of Their Lives race on 15th June 2024 to cheer on our Karlos Dettori (mad jockey) from Cedarbarn.
I am organising Transport and Tickets for everyone who wishes to attend this amazing race .
The details:
Esk Valley Coach Collection from East gate Square Car park at 10.15 am prompt , 10.25 am collection from Cedarbarn if required then on to 10.30 am at Thornton le Dale at Bus Stop ( Island Side ). On for collections at 10.40 am High Grundon Farm yard, Marishes Lane, Wray House Lane End, High Marishes.
Bus stop at 10.50 am, Low Marishes, Lane End final Pick up at 11.00am The Old Lodge Hotel, Malton, Coast liner bus stop. Failure to be at the Collection point in good time will mean you will miss the bus.
The Tickets for the Race Course are to enter the Grandstand / Paddock area this allows you to stand on the Grandstand and Walk to the Parade Ring and stand on the Finish line to cheer him on.
The fee for Transport only is £10.00. (This allows you to purchase other areas i.e. County Tickets)
Race Tickets and Transport is £40.00.
Your payment must be made by BACS to Gena Douglas Sort Code 04-00-04 . Account number 17731646.
Please use your full name and pick up point as the reference, then call/text me on 07917766571 or email me gdouglas@farming.me.uk to confirm your order, whether it’s Transport only or Race and transport and how many in your party.
By May 1st 2024. The sooner the better please, so I can arrange how many Coaches we may need.
