Thank you, Brian Ellison

Karl’s Ride of their Lives for Macmillan would not be possible without the help of racehorse trainer Brian Ellison and his team at Spring Cottage Stables in Malton.

Brian is one of the leading dual-purpose racehorse trainers in the UK and is helping Karl out once more as he becomes the only person in the charity raceday’s history to compete for a second time.

Karl rides out with Brian’s team several mornings a week from the impressive yard that boasts over 100 stables, 20 turnout paddocks, a Kraft salt water walker, a salt therapy room, American barns, open-air stables, indoor school, hot water showers and over 100 equine residents.

Last month, Butterfly Jasmine, Brian’s first 2 year old runner of the season, won a class 3 Maiden at Newcastle, under Ben Robinson and gave the Brian Ellison Racing Club their 60th winner. Congratulations!
