Supporter Profile – Ryedale Lions

Belated thanks to Andrew and Tim from Ryedale Lions, who presented Karl with a cheque for £1,000 for his Ride of Their Lives Appeal recently.

Lion President, Andrew Mansfield, said:  “We are delighted to support Karl in his ongoing efforts for Macmillan Cancer Support, yet another example of  a local person doing their bit to raise both funds and profile for a national organization which helps so many of our residents

“ This donation was made at the suggestion of a Lion member, Tim Pickering, and we are very pleased he raised it with the Club.”

Ryedale Lions Club was started in 1967 and has more than 30 active members covering the North Yorkshire area around Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley and surrounding villages.
