Massive thanks to Leeds fans Jack, Paul and Bob for helping with our appeal

Thornton Le Dale residents Paul and Jack Riley and Pickering businessman Bob Batty have teamed up to offer a money can’t buy opportunity to raise money for Karl’s £25,000 Macmillan appeal.

Lifelong Leeds United supporters Paul and Jack had the idea of organising a signed football shirt to raise money for family friend Karl’s Ride of Their Lives appeal. Fellow LUFC supporter Bob then offered two corporate hospitality tickets to the Bremner suite in the West Stand for any fixture in the 2024/25 season that could see Leeds return to the Premier League.

Bob’s proposal is as follows: simply e-mail KarlAvison@icloud.com with a commitment to offer as much as possible (minimum £500), before the end of the Leeds v Blackburn match (NB 12.30 KO) on Saturday 13th April. The winning bid will be the highest timed offer and Karl will make the final decision.

A few words from Bob: “Marching on together……You know we need to be there to try to help for anyone who suffers with cancer, we all have far too many friends, family and loved ones who do.

Please share this link with every Leeds United supporter and their friends that you can think of, so they can bid too.”

Thanks, Paul, Jack, Bob and family, we are truly grateful for your support.

If you don’t want to be involved in the bid, but would still like to support Karl’s epic challenge, you can donate here. Thank you.
