Congratulations, Michael and Patrick!

We had cause to celebrate at Cedarbarn recently as we marked the tenth annniversary of two of our fab team members, Patrick and Michael.
Head butcher Patrick Donaghy and ‘Man Friday’ Michael Kipling both joined us in 2015 and have seen many changes over the last decade.
Patrick headed up the expansion of the in-house butchery in 2018, and witnessed the upsurge of home delivery orders during the Covid-19 pandemic. Michael, who joined us to work in the shop initially, has worked in most departments, helping out whenever needed, and has found his passion working with his hands in the outdoor team.
Cedarbarn co-founder, Mandy Avison, said: “We are blessed with an amazing team of 51 people who are all fundamental to our success. We are very grateful for the contribution Patrick and Michael have made to ensuring customers have a memorable visit to Cedarbarn.”
When he’s not working, Patrick enjoys walking, and Michael enjoys cricket, football, pool and darts. Their favourite Cedarbarn meals are Cottage Pie and Braised Steak respectively.
