Alison and Lindsey are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Two lovely ladies and their support teams are taking part in the Northumberland Mighty Hike 2023 next month.
On 15th July, our assistant cafe manager Lindsey Adams is taking on a marathon hike of 26 miles with her pal Amy and on 16th July, our GM Alison Riley, husband Paul and five special friends are doing the 13-mile challenge.
Here are their stories and Just Giving links – it would be fabulous if you could support them in any way – every penny counts!
Lindsey’s story:
“I am taking on a Mighty Hike along the picturesque Northumberland coastline to raise money for people living with cancer. I have pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. It could go towards funding a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.”

My husband has Prostate Cancer he was diagnosed in 2020.
He is a very strong & positive man and I am immensely proud of what he has achieved, he has taken part in numerous fundraising walks since his diagnosis and I have decided to walk with him on this occasion.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance.”

One thing’s for sure, they won’t go hungry during the hike with a Cedarbarn pack up!
Good luck, ladies! x
