Tickets are now available online for our charity Race Night on 1st May
On Friday, 1st May, the Cedarbarn team will host a Race Night with a home-reared Aberdeen Angus steak pie supper. Proceeds from the event will be donated to veterinary receptionist Sabrina Coultas from Sinnington, who is taking part in the Ernest Cooper Macmillan Ride of their Lives 2026 at York Racecourse in June.
The event will feature eight races that are projected onto a screen, and guests are encouraged to choose the winning horses.
Karl Avison, our co-founder and participant in two Ride of their Lives races, is delighted to host the event: “We hosted Race Night fundraisers when I competed in the Ride Of Their Lives in 2019 and 2024, and they were great fun. We’re looking forward to a lively evening with great food.”
Tickets for the Race Night cost £20 and include a pie, chip and pea supper. They are available to buy online and from the Farm Shop. There are also opportunities for individuals or businesses to sponsor the event and name any of the eight races. Current sponsors include S & A Doughty Groundworks, Ryedale Cooling Systems, Kirkby Mills Garage Services and Cedarbarn.
