Cedarbarn Dog Field

We have recently fenced an area of grass field solely to provide a secure space for dog walking. The field is approximately 1.25 acres and is suitable for dog walking and training with 6" high secure fencing to stop dogs scrambling over it and wire netting along the bottom to stop them digging under it. The field also has a water tap near the gate.

Only one booking is possible per time slot, so you can be assured that you have the use of the field entirely to yourselves.

The field is located next to Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café so grab a coffee and spend a worry free half hour relaxing in the knowledge that your dog can run and play in a secure environment.

The field has a double gated handling area to keep entry safe as well as an open fronted covered seat area so your dogs can have a run whatever the weather. In fact if you wish to bring a picnic along at the same time that is also fine and there is a picnic table in the field. We do ask that you tidy up any rubbish and put it in the bins provided.

Dog poo MUST BE collected by you and put in a bag and then put in the bin provided.

When you arrive at Cedarbarn, follow the signs to the Cedarbarn Dog Field and park in one of the allotted Dog Field spaces. The padlock on the gate is a combination lock, open it using the code emailed/texted to you, use this padlock to lock the gate behind you for the duration of your chosen slot.

It is ESSENTIAL that you don't stand at the gate waiting for the previous booking to finish and leave the field, unless their time has expired. Many dogs using this field have issues with other dogs and it defeats the object to have problems getting back to their car. Please stay in your car (or outside the field gate) until your booking time. We may have to ban people who do not abide by this rule.

Anybody failing to stick to the rules will be barred in the future. To help police this we ask members to report any rubbish or uncollected dog poo. There is a list of more detailed rules and regulations which you agree to abide by when you book. These are listed on this website - please follow the link here.

If you are not 100% happy with the field we will give you a full refund - please do ask if you don't think it is suitable for you or your dog/s.
